Be the king in War For Wakanda
Previously announced for Marvel's Avengers, Square Enix E3 Showcase today gave a fitting first look at Black Panther joining the roster of superheroes in an all-new expansion, War For Wakanda.
A new cinematic trailer introduces the King of Wakanda himself - although his face isn't visible until he's wearing a black panther mask. He will defend Wakanda from Klaw, who has infiltrated Wakanda in order to steal Vibranium for his own plans.
The trailer page indicates that War For Wakanda will be released in August. The Black Panther expansion will be free for players who already own Marvel's Avengers on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One. The release of the expansion was supposed to have been planned earlier, but was postponed due to the sad and sudden death of Chadwick Boseman, who played the Marvel superhero.
Elsewhere at Marvel, Square Enix also announced today that Eidos Montreal is making Guardians of the Galaxy, due out in October.
