Microsoft ended its presentation at E3 2021 with a brand new title: Redfall, the latest release from developer Dishonored Arkane Studios. It's a co-op shooter a bit like Left 4 Dead, but with dangerous vampires instead of zombies. Here is the hypothesis:
The quaint town of Redvale Island, Massachusetts, is under siege by a group of vampires who have blocked out the sun and cut off the island from the outside world. Trapped with a handful of survivors against demonic enemies that threaten to dry up the city, choose your hero from a diverse list, and team up with others to create the perfect team of vampire slayers.
The game is being developed by the Arkane studio in Austin, Texas, and is scheduled for release in 2022. It will be an Xbox exclusive to the X/S series, as well as the PC. Upon launch, Redfall will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one.
