Even before its release in some regions of the world from its first launch on November 12, Sony's PS5 was showing various problems. And over the past few weeks, many new issues have been spotted. With its latest update, Sony is correcting two major ones.

After a first update last week, the PS5 therefore benefits from a second update this Thursday, November 26. The opportunity for Sony to correct two major problems encountered by some PS5 players. Disturbing issues where games were automatically uninstalled when a DualSense controller could not be recharged in idle mode. But thanks to the latest update, both of these issues need to be resolved. So, here is what this update 20.02-02.26.00 adds:
An issue that could cause installed disk version games to be removed has been resolved.
An issue with some PS5s that prevented a PS5 wireless controller connected (using the supplied USB cable) to the USB Type-A port on the front of the PS5 from charging in rest mode has been resolved.
An update of 868 Mb which therefore aims to correct two of the biggest current problems of the PS5. But despite this supposed success, Sony's next-gen console isn't perfect. Between the fan issues, the disc drive that suddenly activates noisily, the PS4 versions installed on PS5 and various other issues, the PlayStation 5 will still need a few updates to come back up.
A launch phase during which the first owners of the PS5 act as testers. Some gamers are more unlucky than others, even if the first batch of consoles is never the most perfect. Hopefully, the next updates will correct the remaining problems, when the next generations of PS5 should have fewer worries.
