The Japanese company Sony registered trademarks for the PS6 to the PS10 in Japan.
While we await more information about the PS5 (a price estimate could have been leaked) that will likely be released in 2020, Sony has made several names related to the rest of its consoles.
According to information from Gematsu, we learned that the company introduced the PS6, PS7, PS8, PS9 and PS10, Sony is simply trying to protect the names and avoid the risks related to the future of its main console.
As videogames.com explains, trademark registrations for PS4 and PS5 took place in 2006, yet the PS5 will not arrive until 14 years later. So we can consider a 2050 release for the PS10. looking forward !
